| If you can measure it, you can improve it! Some of
our courses incorporate the use of feedback or assessment instruments.
These instruments provide participants with a snapshot of their
preferences, behaviors, and communication styles in the workplace.
Using well-researched instruments with high face validity accelerates
the participant's learning and development process. |

Why
TMS instruments? In a review of the Team Management Index (TMI), the
British Psychological Society
states that “the TMI has a high face validity with managers, the
narrative
profile is easy to read and understand, and the information feedback
guidance
material is
excellent.”
Used in both the public and private sectors, the TMS instruments have
assisted
leading organizations the world over to identify their strengths and
achieve
results, including American Express, Ansett, ANZ Bank, Australian
Department
of Defence, Australian Bureau of
Statistics, Boeing, BP, Ericsson, Ernst & Young, General Electric,
Glaxo
Wellcome, KPMG, Orica Explosives, Mobil Oil, MMI Insurance,
Pricewaterhouse Coopers,
Siemens, Sony, and Tricon Restaurants
International (Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, KFC).
Extensive independent studies have been carried out on the TMS
instruments, with
managers working in a wide range of situations. Rigorous and on-going
research
programs are carried out by the Institute of Team Management Studies
and the
results are published regularly. Data has been collected from more than
100,000
managers in
104 countries. |

Certain
tasks interest people more than others. Why? We each have work
preferences.
The Team Management Profile™ (TMP) gives individuals an
understanding about
the behaviors they exhibit at work, and the impact that this behavior
will have
on others and the work they do. The TMP is useful
for:
Personal Development:
Developing career paths, enhancing
interpersonal skills and communication strategies, and understanding
work-related
strengths and weaknesses.
Team Development: Team
members sharing their profiles and
discussing the impact of their work preferences on the
team’s performance; and understanding how each member likes to
work and
valuing those differences. |

The
Opportunities/Obstacles
Quotient™ (QO2™) is a unique instrument that
determines the “balance” of effort people put into seeing
the opportunities
and obstacles at work. Learn how to harness uniqueness to get the most
out of
work life.
The QO2™ is invaluable for personal development, team
development, change
management, conflict resolution, finding ways around obstacles, and
potential
obstacle analysis. |
