Paula is a dynamic facilitator, coach and speaker, whose contagious enthusiasm and positive outlook motivate the audience, instilling in them the overwhelming desire to become more of who they are. Paula has extensive experience counseling and training CEOs, senior management executives and managers in corporate messaging and management, communication and life skills.

Before founding ACT Training International in 1997, Paula worked as an in-house counsel for The General Electric Company of Singapore and for Richco Commex Ltd. In this role, she set up/managed the legal departments of both companies and provided negotiation and contract management skills to their executives and managers. She holds a Certificate in Training Management from the Productivity and Standards Board of Singapore (PSB), an LL.B Intermediary from the University of London and a Law Degree from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. She is also an accredited consultant of the Team Management Systems (TMS) of Australia and a member of the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM), Singapore Training and Development Association (STADA) and International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Born and educated in Australia, Jennifer obtained a Bachelor of Arts (With Distinction) from the University of Southern Queensland. She followed her degree with a post-graduate diploma in Education and has had a successful 13-year career as an educator in both Australia and Singapore.

With ACT Training, Jennifer travels throughout the region speaking, facilitating training programs and running management retreats. A nine-year resident of Singapore, she is well aware of the potential and challenges of operating in a multi-cultural business environment.

JANVIN KAUR SIDHU : Consultant, Coach & Trainer

Janvin Kaur Sidhu is a passionate, dynamic and caring facilitator with a natural penchant for motivating and inspiring growth and change in people. CRISTINA RODENBECK : Consultant, Coach & Trainer

Cristina is an experienced communicator. She has 11 years of solid experience in Advertising, having worked for two of the top agencies in the world, Ogilvy & Mather and Leo Burnett. During these 11 years she has worked with top blue-chip multinational clients (Philip Morris, Unilever, Coca-Cola, Kodak, IBM, Kraft Jacobs Suchard, AMEX, Mattel, Hutchison Whampoa Limited, amongst many others) in three different markets: Brazil, Europe and Asia.

After being a brand steward of important global brands in three totally different markets and cultures, she acquired a unique working experience. Understanding each culture in-depth, their differences and their specific needs is her strength and these qualities are seen in her training style.

Cristina holds a bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Advertising from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado. Carol is a passionate and dedicated training consultant. Her training sessions are relevant and upbeat due to Carol’s flexible, creative and interactive delivery style. She enjoys asking stimulating questions, facilitating action-learning activities and using real-life business examples that she brings with her from her experience working in the international marketing arena in HK and China.

Before joining ACT Training, Carol oversaw the training division of Re Young International (HK) Company Limited, an international marketing company, where she was responsible for organizing, designing and delivering training workshops for distribution partners and internal staff in Hong Kong and Mainland China. She was based in Shanghai.

Hong Kong born and schooled, Carol completed her Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Communication at Western Michigan University in the USA. She was selected for membership by Lambda Pi Eta, The National Communication Association Honor Society, and the Golden Key National Honor Society, in recognition of outstanding scholastic achievement and excellence. Carol is fluent (speaking and writing) in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. She is also a certified Professional Make-up Artist and Stylist.

KEUNHAE PARK : Consultant, Coach & Trainer

Keunhae is a passionate teacher, trainer and facilitator. Born in South Korea, she has a natural talent for understanding and bridging the gaps between Western and Asian thinking, communication and management. Keunhae is spontaneous, open-minded and highly flexible in adapting to new environments and helping others do the same.

Prior to joining ACT, Keunhae has worked as a high-school teacher and facilitator for foreigners in Korea for more than 10 years. During that period, she honed her skills to help Koreans integrate with the global community and foreigners feel more comfortable in the local environment. Her facilitation style encourages active participation and open communication. Keunhae's students and clients have praised her sensitivity on understanding their needs and addressing them in a natural, positive way. More than half of her clients come through referrals from existing clients.

Educated in South Korea, Keunhae graduated with top distinction from the Kyungbook National University Teachers' College. She was awarded special teachers' scholarship for four consecutive years, and was selected as university representative for teacher internship. She has also conducted training for university freshmen in conjunction with the YMCA. During her stint as a high school teacher, Keunhae received the Government prize for top performing teacher. Keunhae speaks Korean, English and German fluently and passable Chinese.

On a personal level, Keunhae's marriage to a German has sharpened her understanding of the cultural divide between Asia and the West, as well as ways of smoothly overcoming differences in communication, style or mindset. MARIA PAULA HANMER : Consultant, Coach & Trainer

Maria Paula is a passionate and dynamic facilitator who has dedicated her professional life to teaching and training. A Graduate from University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, with a Bachelor degree in Geography and a Teaching degree, she has extensive experience in teaching at different kinds of schools and age groups.

She worked for three years making presentations on the state cultural and educational TV in Sao Paulo, participating in two projects: one consisted of a pioneering live program where she answered phone-in questions on Geography. The other project was based on a two hour lesson where she participated in all stages from designing the strategy, preparing the content, presenting and editing the programs.

Maria Paula also has a certificate in Accounting and her overall experience includes the financial areas. She was a sole partner and manager of an Accounting Office in Sao Paulo for several years where she developed skills in management, motivating and training her staff as well as in designing and implementing special evaluation methods and procedures for her company as well as for the clients.

She worked as a Financial Consultant for several companies from a variety of industries, including Boston Consulting Group, P & O and Accor. She also advised a number of companies at the leading edge of Brazilian fashion, some of which now have an international presence - G, Reinaldo Lourenco and Alice Capella. This experience enables her to have a broad view of the different issues within a company allowing her to put into action practical aspects in a training program.

Born, educated and having worked mostly in Brazil, she has also lived in Curacao, Taipei, Amsterdam and now in Seoul. The experience of living abroad gives her the opportunity to know different people and appreciate the richness of their culture and history.
SACHIYO KAWASAKI : Consultant, Coach & Trainer

Sachiyo is an enthusiastic consultant, facilitator, and coach. Sachiyo firmly believes in unlimited potential of individuals for self-growth. She works with groups and individuals in order to achieve better business results and personal development through experiential learning. She has taught a wide range of workshops and seminars dealing with communication, meeting facilitation, managing change, leadership training, and life design. Sachiyo is an outstanding communicator in written and spoken Japanese, English, and Spanish.

Sachiyo is a registered Industrial Counselor (Japan), Co-active Coach (CTI Japan), and Supervisor (coach) of Inter-vision's Self Expanding Program (Japan). Sachiyo holds a BA in History from Bethel College, Kansas, U.S.A. and also attended Master's Program in Sociology with an emphasis on Cross-cultural Leadership Studies of Azusa Pacific University, California, U.S.A.

Sachiyo comes from both the educational and business background in cross-cultural settings. Prior to establishing herself in the consulting and coaching world in 2003, Sachiyo had 20 years of successful career with a North American forest product manufacturer. Sachiyo was the Representative Director in Tokyo from 1983 to 2003. In this position, she managed the Japanese sales office as well as the joint-venture partnerships. During the 1970's through the early 1980's, she was a teacher of English as a Secondary Language (ESL) and sociology in private bilingual schools in Central America.

Sachiyo's cultural and linguistic sensitivity was well proven in her business career, in which she successfully interfaced with culturally and professionally diverse groups of people.
ANA CHRISTINA LOPES : Facilitator, Consultant & Coach (Based in The Netherlands)

Ana Christina is an energetic and versatile consultant who faces challenges as opportunities for evolution and self-motivation. Being a vivid advocator of knowledge creation, Ana Christina views group interaction as fundamental requirement for knowledge sharing, one of the major competitive resources within organizations. Born in Brazil, Ana Christina's experience in finance started with Banco Holandes Unido (ABN) in Rio de Janeiro, leading her to Europe, where she was based for many years while working for ABN AMRO Bank, Arbitral Finance and Banco do Brasil in Amsterdam. Having joined NORTEL Networks in Sao Paulo, Ana Christina was once again positioned in Brazil, although constantly involved with large multinationals in Latin America, USA and Europe. Her various management positions throughout her career path have provided her with elements that point to the undeniable and powerful combination of interaction, multi-cultural expertise, diversity and, above all, knowledge sharing as complementary tools for high achievement in a global economy.

Ana Christina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Portuguese, English and Literature from the Universidade Federal Fluminense (Brazil), Executive M.B.A with honours - magna cum laude - from the European University (The Netherlands), M.B.A. with IBMEC (Brazil), besides various certificates for extensive courses including International Affairs at UC Berkeley (USA), The International Finance System at the Institute of World Affairs (USA) and Project Finance with DC Gardner (USA).

Margo Lockhart is a highly regarded facilitator and designer with an excellent reputation for developing trust and rapport in the working environment.
