Donate to the Tsunami
Relief Effort - LankaRealAid
If you would like to help the tsunami victims, but cannot decide where to donate money to,
we would like to make an option available to you. We believe that the direct and heartfelt
effort of individuals is one of the most effective ways of meeting the immediate needs
of local communities.
We are collecting contributions in cash to send to
Mr. Viren Perera. Viren is a personal
friend of Paula Marcondes (one of our trainers). Paula and her family were staying with
Viren in Sri Lanka when the tsunami disaster took place. Paula has witnessed first hand
how Viren mobilized his personal resources (staff from his retreat in Ulpotha, vans,
connections and personal time) to buy and send relevant donations to affected
communities that he knows personally.
As locals, Viren and his team know what’s needed, where it’s needed the most, and the
most effective ways of getting things there fast and securely.
